Hi, I'm MATIC!
(pronounced: mah-teetz)

I’m a Creative Leader and a Digital Artist based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, with a deep love for blending imagination with intention to create meaningful experiences. Right now, I’m guiding animation magic at Superside as a Senior Creative Team Lead in Motion & 3D.

With 19 years in the industry, I’ve worn nearly every hat: from creative directing and animating, to developing visual narratives and leading global teams. I unify artful storytelling with mindful leadership to fuel creative momentum and uplift the heroes behind the work. I’m passionate about crafting thoughtful workflows and shaping creative systems that support clarity and growth. Though I feel at home leading and mentoring teams, I still love getting hands-on in production, keeping me anchored and playful.

My journey spans roles as a Creative Director + Studio Founder, an Art Director, a Motion Designer (2D and 3D), a Compositor, and way back, a LEGO enthusiast - probably where my love for systems and storytelling began.

When I’m not immersed in creative worlds, I’m usually off on sci-fi adventures with my kid, or sneaking in a meditation session. Science, robots, bunnies, early mornings, cosmic questions, kimchi: if you’re into any of these, we’ll definitely get along.
